I’m Dr. Annahieta Kalantari, a double board-certified physician, master educator, and expert in wellness, longevity, and lifestyle medicine. After years in academic emergency medicine, I shifted my work to focus on helping people live better, longer through evidence based, sustainable habits.
The Full Story
I spent most of my career practicing academic emergency medicine. It’s fast, high stakes, and deeply rewarding. I also achieved all the professional accolades associated with writing papers, conducting research, and teaching. But over time, that life started taking its toll. Like so many physicians, I found myself burned out and overwhelmed, realizing that the very system I was working in left little space for true health for my patients or for me.
That realization became the turning point. I began to look at medicine differently, shifting from reacting to illness to understanding the science of prevention, performance, and longevity. What started as an effort to reclaim my own wellness evolved into a professional mission to help others live better, longer.
I am double board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, and I have spent more than a decade teaching, mentoring, and leading physicians in academic medicine. Before stepping away from that world, I served as Vice Chair of Education at a quaternary academic medical center and received multiple national and institutional awards for teaching and leadership including the American College of Emergency Physicians National Faculty Teaching Award and the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. I was also honored to be named a Harvard Macy Scholar and to speak nationally on topics ranging from medical education to physician wellness.
Those years shaped how I think about health, not as a checklist or a fad but as a lifelong process grounded in evidence, self-awareness, and small, sustainable changes. That philosophy became the foundation for The Whole Human Health and Wellbeing, my practice and platform that blends clinical medicine, education, and speaking to make the science of healthy living accessible and actionable.
At my core, I’m still an educator. Whether I’m teaching a room of physicians, recording an episode of No Filter Doctor, or speaking to a live audience, my goal is the same: to cut through misinformation and help people understand their “why” behind becoming the best version of themselves.
My mission is simple, to help people live better, longer. Because wellness and longevity are not about chasing perfection; they are about understanding what matters most and taking consistent, evidence-based steps toward it.

Core Values
Honesty Above Everything
I believe people deserve clear and straightforward information. No fluff, no fear, and no exaggerated claims. I speak openly about what the evidence shows and what it does not because honesty builds trust and cuts through the noise.
Education That Empowers
Knowledge changes how people show up in their lives. My goal as a speaker is to break down complex topics in a way that helps people understand their bodies, their choices, and the science behind healthier living.
Every Body Is Different
Health is not one size fits all. I highlight individuality, nuance, and context because what works for one person may not work for another. My speaking focuses on helping people find what fits their reality.
Small Steps Create Big Change
Sustainable change happens through small and consistent shifts. I focus on practical and realistic approaches that encourage tiny repeatable habits which move the needle over time.
